Crock Pot Chicken Satay!!

 I got this recipe chicken Satay from another blogger's page. It was a crock pot meal. Similar to my soup, just had peanut butter and I tricked with corn starch. I could probably add green beans to this and some ginger. Very easy to make and delicious! Everyone loved it! 

I have leftovers today for lunch! 

I don't cook often but will include this easy meal in my what I can cook list. I think country style ribs should be next in the crock pot. Maybe this weekend? 

Ice and Snow!

 It was an ice and snow sculpture venture out Sunday. 

I think this was the first place winner! 

These 3 were my favorites, but they were all really good. 

They were still craving the ice sculpture when we went to look at them. Kind of interesting to see how they are made. 

This bottom one was on of my favorites just because the chain work was something else! 

I made some blueberry muffins this morning. Haven't made muffins in quite a while. I sometimes forget how easy they are to make from scratch. We had lots of blueberries in the frig so I used up some of the huge berries. 

Zoey after her grooming I did this Saturday. 

Before all furry! I won't be waiting this long to groom her ever again. It was a lot of fur. She is acting like a puppy again with so much energy. I can tell she likes having less fur! 

It's going to be a warm up this week. Might get to 50 by Thursday!! It could also snow a little today. It's sunny right now. I hope it misses us! It will all melt on Thursday if its 50 degrees!

 Here is a photo dump from last week. Starting off with using a Groupon I punched for Benette's out in Hudson. 

I got the fish since I hardly have that. It was just okay. Nothing great about any of this food. 

I won't go back to this restaurant. 

My new front entry rug. I didn't think I'd find a rug I liked, but this one from Costco at $49 was a great deal and perfect color. I'm just cautious about getting it dirty. So far so good! 

I also got another new Costco rug for our front sitting room. Plus the 3 wicker baskets under tables. Loving the new look, brighter and lighter. Of course it will get dirty. It was only $129 so a good deal too but I'm guessing wont' last. I have one more rug to replace in the porch so I'll keep looking at that one is at least 8 x 10 if not bigger! I just don't want to spend that much. 

We had a gift card to Woodbury Hazewood restaurant. The lemon chicken and pizza were both delicious we shared 2 meals. 

Thankfully, we still have more on the gift card to use up! We will be back for that chicken!!I need to try making that at home! 

We went to Como zoo on Monday. Soaked in the "green" and warmth of the tropical exhibits. Didn't see any animals other then the sloth, birds, mice, etc 

We didn't stay for long here, but that was fine. We will go back when it warms up and do the outside animals.
