St Croix River Sunday

 The 4 of us spent the day on the river. We haven't done that in ages where it's just the 4 of us. 

Of course I didn't take many photos since we were in the water a lot. We ended up not going to the island, but instead going up to where they have that Island full of large boats and just anchoring on the other side with a bunch of other boats. It was so hot out we had to be in the water.

Prescott on the dock, we went up to Muddy waters and had some wings, then the kids joined and they had some wings and drinks with us before going out on the river. 

Celina's 1st Stillwater half marathon!!

So very proud of Celina for running her first half marathon!! She got such a great time too 1 hr and 55 min/ under 2 hours for 13.1 miles!!  

Here's the route, they were bussed to the start line in Wisconsin.

New chairs...

 I purchased two new chairs off FB market place. They are blue which nothing in that room is blue, but it's not supposed to match. 

I do need some new pillows with some blue or light gray to tie them into the room. I'll have to look at TJ max for those. I got them both for $200! They look new and never sat in. The woman I purchased them from is moving to South Africa and is selling everything. What a great deal!!! I have been looking for chairs for years. I didn't originally have them in front of the window, but Kendra suggested it and I do like it much better then sticking them in the corner

This was how I org had them. I wasn't sure about blocking the window, but I like it now that I have it set up that way. 

Duluth Weekend...

 We had a fun weekend in Duluth, camping in Esko a little North of  Carlton. Steve had one more weekend of stitches on his back and no lifting so we figured, might as well get out of town! 

We usually drive right by Duluth on our way to Grand Marais, so it was nice having an extended time in town. The last time we stayed in Duluth was years ago for one of Logan's soccer tournaments when he was 14?

Ursla Minor brewery, Beer, salad and pizza for the night. A stop daily at Black bear to gamble. We both came home winners. I was only down $5 and Steve up at least $60 or $80. That's a win/win!!

Steve's skin cancer spot surgery.

 Last Wednesday Steve had a mole removed due to the biopsy coming back as skin cancer. He had to have a large area cut out and biopsied again. It came back cancer free!! He can't lift more than 10 pounds and can't work for 2 weeks, so is off till July 23rd.

Good news! All cancer free as the spot was cleared on Tuesday!!
