Mother's Day.

Mother's Day was spent with getting in a 1 mile run with Zoey, followed by a 8 mile bike ride. Just went on the bike ride by myself as Steve and the kids were having coffee and croissants with his mother. 

Dinner we had over Kendra, Paul, Evan and Madelyn. This is the first time they have been over since Madelyn was born! She is now 1-1/2! Since we are vaccinated, it feels okay to have unvaccinated over with us inside. Although, we are getting a few mixed messages from the health officials. Who's more at Covid risk? Guess we took our chances since we have been vaccinated. 

Celina made a Mother's Day Strawberry cake and homemade ice cream. All dairy/gluten free. 

Steve and I stopped for an hour at the winery. Grabbed a bottle of the Mother's Day red wine. They had a band and plenty of open area to sit and enjoy the nice sunny 60 degree day. I actually got a little hot sitting in the sun dressed all in black! 

We sat by this pretty little Japanese lilic tree. 

So many people at the winery! We sat our distance away. Felt more back to normal since no-one was wearing a mask outdoors only when purchasing bottles of wine set up outside. 

We also stopped to see the waterfall in Hastings. 

Water levels are down since we haven't had a whole lot of rain!
