Happy 25th Birthday Celina's Family party.
We had a taco bar with pork, chicken and steak. We also made the cream cheese/salsa dip and some guacamole. All delicious!
I made the cake and attempted to make roses, which I haven't done in years and never on a cake! I also used the leaf tip cake decorator for the first time and it worked really well. The cake was just a box, chocolate and very moist, I re-used the dairy free chocolate ganache for the middle along with cut up fresh strawberries and dairy free butter cream frosting. It was delicious! I probably should have just used jam instead of fresh strawberries since they get mushy and hold a lot of water.
We all played pass the potato and then 2 rounds of Bingo for candy prizes. Everyone seemed to like the games at the table. I'll have to do that every gathering.
