Happy 86th Birthday Wayne!!

HAPPY 86TH BIRTHDAY WAYNE!!

We made dinner at our house, ribs, chicken gyro's, potatoes and coleslaw.     

I made a carrot cake, used a box cake and added spiced nuts and some carrots. I should have added some crushed pineapple and a few raisins to top it off. Plus, it could have used a bit more spice! I also made a cream cheese frosting which gave me trouble decorating since the frosting was a bit soft. I even put it in the freezer for a bit but don't have time to wait till it was stiffer. Not the best looking but over all a good cake. Probably could have used a bit of salt to even out the sweetness. 

We also went to fish fry at the river/legion Friday night. The wait was 2 hours till we got our food after sitting down. We thankfully, only had to wait about 10 min to sit. 

We didn't finish eating and home by 9pm. Which we left at 5:30pm.
