Off to College in Milwalkee

I have so much to update. Our Road trip to set up Logan in his college dorm and on to Door Co for my birthday weekend.

We had a super time in Milwalkee with the kids. We are excited to see where Logan's path in life takes him. Proud parents!! I'm sure he will do great things!

Before Logan was able to move into the dorms, we had some fun around the city. Drove out on Saturday and move in was Sunday at 4:30pm.

We had rock star parking for the car unloading to get carts and haul it up 11 floors. Found Logan's dorm room and was able to meet at least 2 of his roommates out of the 4. He is in a double room and the roommate had checked in earlier picking the bed closest to the wall. Logan just kept the room arrangement the same as the bed really couldn't fit anywhere else. He opted to not bunk his bed.
Sandburg his dorm building. We helped him make the bed, and unpack. We did ask if he wanted help and lucky for us he did!
The bummer part of the dorm is that its small, very small and has a very small window of the 3 dorm rooms. They only can open it a few inches and its super hot in the dorms when its 80+F outside! No AC, but he does have a large fan.

His view and far off you can see Lake Michigan!
One last thing we did was to stock his frig with food and water and help set up the ceiling rope lights around his bed and desk. It was the only decorations he wanted!
I feel like we spent a small fortune buying all new stuff for the dorm. He didn't even want that much stuff either. Just a new comforter, pillow, blanket, duvet cover, school supplies, mini frog, laundry basket, storage containers, fan, extension cords, rope mood lighting, food for his frig, hanging storage shelves and some removable hooks. I'm sure there were a few more items, oh some new sweatshirts too. I offered to purchase a rug but he said no, their carpet was new and was fine.
We met up one last time on Sunday morning before saying goodbye to him.

Some other fun photo of the city before we took Logan to his dorm
