We had the lake driveway fixed on Friday. Or so we thought! I ordered class 5 rocks, but probably should have just gotten crushed rocks. It rained and made more of a mud mess! Ugh!
Took the kayaks up to the lake and did use them a bit, but not as much as I was hoping.
Found a new restaurant/bar in Melrose that had really good pizza.
Lake view from the kayak. Seems we get boat loads of pontoon boats driving by us slowly checking us out like we are the freak show.
The new driveway before the rain. I was hoping this would fix the mud, but now it made more mud and mush. Plus after the rain each day, filled tire tracks with standing water. I am not happy since we ended up with two truck loads costing $240 each load plus spreading it out another $200. That will be a not so fun bill because we still have to buy rocks to fix the mud from the driveway.
Checked out a new brewery to us in Alexandria. And of course back to Carlos Creek winery/Brewery that is our favorite stopping place up at the lake.
Also a new to us winery in Long Prairie, a 15 minute drive.
Two really great nights for a fire with no wind!

Swimming in the lake using the new square tubes. Neighbor friends joined us at the lake (Jon and Mollie) Saturday night to Sunday afternoon.
A great weekend at the lake. Now we won't be back till the 4th of July week.
