We took a 6 day trip to Missouri, Tennessee and back to the Ozarks!
Our first night was outside of St. Louis at a farm of sorts. It's mostly a wedding venue. Since we were the only ones there, we got to camp by the man made lake.
We set up camp right next to the lake on the hill. We just car camped the first night to keep it simple.
They let us use their canoe. Steve brought his fishing stuff and caught a bunch of fish in the lake.
We also walked their property which was a mile walk around the lake and fields.
Peace tree farms
We had an amazing sunset. Our only bonfire of the trip. Car camping with our trunk tent/screen porch. Worked perfect!
We did a quick stop in St Louis to take a photo of the arch.
We did a few loops around it, due to getting the GPS mixed up!
Finally found our way out of the city and on to Tennessee, 30 minutes outside of Nashville.
We camped along the river, in someone's backyard. It was far from the house. We stayed two nights. First night we just stayed there and ate in town. Set up the big 20 ft tent.
We had lots of extra room in the big tent. Set up the table in the tent which worked great for our bags.
It was a great camping spot! Very quiet!
We had some breakfast before going to Nashville the next day which was Saturday. Didn't know Taylor Swift's concert was in town. So lots of girls dressed in sparkles!
Honky Tonk Street in Nashville.
We spent our day here. Starting with the Jonny Cash museum. Lots of roof top restaurants, bands playing in every bar/restaurant. We did a lot of walking, stopping for a drink and having a few meals. We didn't stay for night life since we had been there for hours! A party area!
