We spent 10 hours in the car driving to Milwaukee and then home. Thankfully, we left at 5:30am and were in Milwaukee for a few hours before having to make the drive home at 5pm.
Here are some of the Milwaukee and Port Washington's views of the lake.We had lunch in Port Washington and stopped for a beer at another place overlooking the water.
We dropped off a bunch of supplies for Logan to last him the rest of the school year. He has plenty of frozen food to get by for quite awhile. We had stocked him up on lots of frozen veggies, meat and paper products and some snacks too. $200+ worth of stuff to get him through spring semester. Of course on the way home he lists a bunch of other items he could have used. Well, a little late! He will have to purchase those when he gets back. We will just give him money. He only has April and half of May and then the school year is over and he is on to Senior year of college!
Our new replaced grill arrived and it did not disappoint! I put it together right away and yep it did have the extra stand and is foldable. I'm not exactly sure where to store all these new grills, so we just have them inside for now. I want to keep them nice! We probably should find room in the garage or purchase a grill cover to store outdoors.
I still haven't gotten my swim suit. It still has at least 2 weeks to arrive before I need it for our trip. Plus, I am not even sure I'll like it??
Logan came home last night at 10:30pm with us, only to leave today at 10am to visit friends in Mankato Saturday- Sunday. We will all have a family St. Patty day dinner together Sunday.
I have a busy work week coming up. Well, that all depends on spring break trips for some of my clients. So we shall see??
We have projects to finish up inside our house this weekend. I'd like to get the mud room all finished. Plus, get some trim done. We have other projects that cost zero money to complete. Unfortunately the next project was painting the garage for me, but that's not going to happen since it's only a high of 40's today and of course super windy up to 20/30mph gusts of wind. Not exactly nice outdoor weather!
