We are heading now towards mid March! We booked one night of travel to Texas in April to see the eclipse. This trip wasn't a given as we didn't know Steve's work schedule. Thankfully, things are picking up and once again he is booked out. I even gave myself a break and didn't do any advertising! I might just start up again on nice days and less busy ones. I could still use a few more new clients to fill my schedule and the extra money sure doesn't hurt!
Celina had good news with her interview yesterday. Fingers crossed now that she gets the job, but it does seem very likely she will!! I'm excited for her to be a permanent position with vacation time off, sick time, and benefits with a great company. She should know either Friday or early next week and most likely will start in 2 weeks after her project wraps up. She's had great luck with all coming together for her after graduating college. Plus, this is a at home position where she doesn't even have to go in at all to the office which is an hour drive each way. It was listed as a hybrid job, so that's a relief to know she won't have to do that drive very often and need a car too, which would have been a big added expense and one more car in the driveway for another year.
Nice that we've had some good news lately! Now to keep that going!! I'm hoping Logan also has some good news internship news.
I picked up paint, the right base this time yesterday and will do all the wall + spray paint touch ups today. I know this is adding a project, but I really want to work on that mud room wall project asap! I think it would be an easy, cheap fix for an area that is needing help. It's not going to be warm enough this weekend for outdoor projects, so we can easily move inside. Other than doing indoor trim, which we can also do in the laundry room, it won't cost much for some 2x2 wood, and we already have the white paint or whatever. color I decide looks good! We just need hooks or wood pegs. I think we will go with just metal and make it easy and unbreakable!
I'll probably want to add some above cubbies to keep mittens/hats etc. We do have 2 that I can paint, so that's also an option or just purchase some new white 4 cubes to hang up.
