Finally Friday!

 I don't work till noon today. I should probably get a few things done around the house, like clean up the kitchen dishes, paint that upstairs wall, get on the cross ramp and run for a bit, lift weights and do a plank. Not too much to ask to accomplish! 

Evan had his 4th grade Jukebox musical through the ages last night. It was a really nice production featuring every 4 th grade class with a different song from each decade starting in the 70's. The kids all dressed up for the part too. Evan's class did In Vogue, Madonna's song which was Evan's favorite. He wore our Halloween big afro wig for the occasion. He had a speaking part too, which was very clear and precise  which was nice because some of the kids spoke so fast or it was hard to understand what they were staying. 

I was home in time to eat dinner and watch President Biden's Union Speech. It was good! Very hopeful and some good things for his reelection!! 

Don't look at the guy on the right. What a turd!! He will be the ex speaker of the house in November!! Repubican's couldn't stand and clap for anything the president said last night. Sickening! Some were for Vets, children, women and lastly the United States. They all sat there pissed off. Glad he made them look like fools.

I was going to go with the cheaper option of wood pegs for the mud room hall project. Kendra had a point, the paint will rub off and they will look a mess after a short time of use. Or just get dirty! 

I'll get these hooks instead or something similar that isn't too much $$. Maybe if I find something cheaper for hooks I'll go with that? I need 32 hooks in all!! So it would be around $60 dollars in just hooks, plus the wood, which is $15 aprox. Then just paint the wall, which we have paint. So in all whatever if I spend, its still a cheap wall fix for hanging up coats etc.. 

I did spray paint the outdoor furniture yesterday and 2 pots. I have the indoor pots to spray, but will wait till it warms up and they can be outside all summer. 

I'll finish painting the hall walls today with the correct base paint. I think we should clear out the apple tree branches we cut last weekend and take them to the recycle area to clean up our back yard. We will have more branches to get rid of as we cut up more trees. I'm not sure much else is going to get done over the weekend, but I have off Monday, so maybe I'll paint the garage walls on my side. It should be 60 degrees Monday- Wed next week, perfect temp todo outdoor painting. Plus, it sure will clean up the garage at least on my side. 

This could also happen this weekend. Yard sale for Dump to pay his legal bills owed!! I'll have the popcorn ready for this!! Hoping the sale starts this weekend!! No more free passes for that Guy!! Time to Pay up!! 

We also might get together with neighbor friends and go out to St. Paul where they are moving at the end of the month. I'm excited for their move to a new adventure living in Down town St. Paul. I will miss them not in the neighborhood, but I hope we will continue to stay in touch. I probably will have to reach out more which I'm not good at, but sure will try.
