Outside...outside!!

I came home to find Steve had been trimming up the apple trees out back. He had the afternoon off and started in on a home project. I helped clear the branches while he trimmed up the 2nd apple tree. We now have a big pile of branches to bring to the garden center. They charge $15 per truck load and I'm guessing it will be at least 2 loads. A small price to pay to get them out of here as they are all piled up on top of the garden. We have a few more trees to trim and 2 to cut down this year. We will see if Steve wants to keep trimming trees! He did offer to power wash the back of the garage since he has to get up on the ladder to reach the 3rd floor. We will just use a bleach solution on the house to prevent moss from growing on the east side.

One of my clients has this on their wall. Loved this about travel!

I have a really busy work day with a new client too. Why do I do this to myself!! I'm going to be exhausted after!!

Steve had good news for me yesterday. He confirmed some jobs he was waiting on and picked up some new ones too. That means we can go to Texas in April!! We still need to get more jobs lined up for the summer, but for now we are good. I'm still okay with Option #2 at any point! Just need to finish our house projects first, obviously! We are making progress to that every day!! Either way, I want to live in a finished house for at least a while! Seems we've always had a project since moving in 25 years ago this May 10th. We will need to book our night stays at hip camps asap. Fingers crossed for good weather too!

I'm sure this weekend we will be working on more home projects. I will be finishing up the painting inside and outdoors. I'm thinking we will do more yard stuff/deck sanding/clear coat paint and house power washing the garage. We will see how much we get done! The weekend is only going to be in the upper 40's, but Monday./Tuesday 60's. Go figure Steve has his contractor class on the 67+F day! I'm guessing we won't be power washing since its going to be too cold! Maybe branches and sanding or work inside getting the spare room all cleaned up and closet shelf organizers installed!

I did find this hall design I want to put up in our mud room.
I showed Steve this idea and I think he is on board. Looks like a simple project todo! It will also give us more room /hooks in our mud room and brighten it up, while adding home value! Looks like I could even do this! So I think this is going to be the next project!! I'll paint it all white too.

I'll need to do a before and after picture of our mud room. Just need to figure out where to store all the shoes!!
