Dirty, Dirty....

I took down 7 of the 14 porch clear glass lights to clean. Wow, you can see the difference easily as the dirty ones look like frosted glass. We haven't had them that many years, but I suppose this is a yearly project to keep them looking clean. I need help reaching the last 7 as the couch and panino is in the way. The are up high, so I don't like having to teeter on the high ladder. That will be a project for this morning after we hit up the gym.

I also need another throw away paint brush, so will need to stop at Walmart and pick up a few more under $1 dollar small brushes. I will then paint the bottom of the garage door where there is rust coming through and then around the front door's trim. They are both white and I know where the paint is at and it should be good as we purchased last year. I also will finish up the wall touch ups, which I'd like a small roller. We have the rollers just not the roller thing to apply. So will pick up that too!

Steve needs to fix Logan's car breaks, so we also need to pick those up. He will do that while I'm painting. Then this afternoon when it's warm in the 60's, I want to power wash the house and wash some windows. I'm sure Steve will want to enjoy part of the day and go somewhere for a Happy hour. We'll just find a park and take food/drinks with us for a cheaper outing. It's gotten more expensive to eat and drink out and the food isn't that great. We can purchase a 12 or 6 pack for the cost of 1 drink out, Plus we have a better view of a river or woods or whatever outdoors. Maybe even find the small grill and cook out and do a picnic for dinner tonight? Burgers? I guess the older we get, and after covid we discovered that we enjoy being out in nature more then around people in man made places. We still like going out and being treated, just more picky about where we go.

Steve's drink last Thursday, he still goes out with his brother every week.

Celina sent me these photos of the Grand Canyon. They did a hike down a very steep area and it was windy. There was an ooh, ah lookout, where she passed on looking since the wind was crazy.

They are in Phenioix AZ as of late last night and will be home at 11 on Monday. Two more days to enjoy their trip.

She got great news yesterday, has an interview on Wednesday. It's a hybrid job, which means probably more time at work?? She likes her 2 times a month going into the office, but I have a feeling it will be more like 3 times a week! Yikes, it's a long drive. 1 hour each way... 2 hours of travel time every day she got into work. That's a lot of driving time! She will need to purchase her own car by the summer because she can't keep using Logan's car unfortunately if that's the case. I'm guessing he is going to need his car for a job too? At least that's what I'm hoping!!! I just reminded him yet again to get his resume sent out. There are a ton of internships for his degree. He just needs to take action! Fingers crossed both kids have jobs over the summer.

Yep. This says it all. Who would vote for this orange guy?? Can those people sink any lower on the F-ked up SCALE??
